Sharon Greenlee Hewlett

Immediately after graduation, I began working as a Legal Secretary for a private law firm in Starkville. I worked in the legal field for about 10 years, (private law firm and the District Attorney's Office). After the birth of my second child, I decided to change career paths and worked in the commercial lending and financial planning arenas for about 10 years. In the early 90's, I established a secretarial service - never have I worked so many long hours and so many weekends - owning my own business was challenging but very gratifying! In 1999, I joined the staff of the MSU General Counsel's Office as Business Manager and Manager for the Trademark Licensing Program.
