I feel like I'm on the 25 year plan at MCC but realistically here is the story. I started out in commercial art there. Then one day I just couldn't sit there any more. I got up, walked out and withdrew from all of my classes. I just couldn't sit behind a desk anymore. I enrolled in the EMS classes immediately after and obtained my Associates degree and Paramedic License in 1995.
Then life took over.
I married Dennis in 1997, then our children were born a couple years later.
I stayed home with them through their elementary education and now I'm finishing what I started. I will graduate Nursing School in December 2014. My full intentions at one time were to become a flight nurse, but since I found out I can't fly without getting violently ill, that was removed off the list a long time ago. I don't think anyone should ever stop learning or reinventing themselves.
