When we graduated, Rita Yawn (Nable), Brenda,and I attended Georgia Southern University for one year. After a year, Brenda and I returned to Macon to attend Macon State College so that we would be home during the time our mother was ill. I have worked in the insurance industry for most of my career. I worked for Cigna Insurance Company when I first graduated, and am now a Supervisor at GEICO Insurance Company.

I would have to say that the fondest memories I have of our years at Tattnall are the ones of playing basketball, with Tommy Tucker and Gary Faulkner as the coaches. However, there is one exception .....the time when Harriett couldn't stop making faces and sounds like the Lion from the Wizard of Oz during basketball practice one day. Since we couldn't stop laughing at her, Coach Tucker made us (the entire team) run laps around the gym with our hands above our head, for what seemed like hours!! We didn't find Harriett quite so funny at that point!
