Happy Birthday Anne and of course a grand and happy Thanksgiving!
Hi Ross: Thanks for keeping this site alive and kicking. I occasionally post pictures and comments but I never (OK, rarely) receive any replies. Even my birthday is never highlighted. Is there something you can look into? Thanx. BTW, I just saw you birthday salutations (below)...but I did not see it in the regular feed. Thanx from lovely and wonderful California! Joel Thames
Here's my other half - Georgie. We were bike riding in the Sepulveda Basin here in the San Fernando Valley - encompassing at least 50 by 50 square miles. This basin is a "catch basin" for water that flows off the mountains in the far background, in the winter and spring time. We here in CA try to conserve as much water as we can since technically, we live in a desert. In a good year of rain (something we have not seen in nearly 10 years), this entire area would be covered in 20' to 30' of water for approximately 10 miles in any direction. During the summer months, we get no rain and this area becomes a wonderful area for recreation. Please enjoy!
Jimmy - finally in touch with you after all these years!!! I hope this note finds you well and happy. I'm still living in Los Angeles (since 1970) and loving my life here. Please stay in touch, I'm on Facebook and easy to find. Still remember your baby blue 1959 Cadillac coupe'. A close friend here in LA has told me that if he wins the Lottery, he will find and gift me a 1959 Cadillac Coupe'. Jimmy, so many great memories. You were my best friend and pal in high school. Cheers to you and your family! Below is a pic of my Australian Blue Heeler "Dingo," a cattle/ranch dog and my Golden "English Butter" colored Retriever "Mozli." Mozli (means "baby" in Hungarian) and he is quite literally 90lbs of love and affection...and lots of hair!
Jimmy "Cope" Copeland, Rusty and I would hangout as much as we could. I will always remember that Rusty was a ginger, always with his chest proudly 'poked' out and always up to some mischief!
Rusty was a good 'bad-ass' kind of guy and friend!
Rest in peace Mr. Garner.
The happiest of birthdays...one day late. I sent you a note Sunday but for some reason my comments don't show here. We'll try again. Much love to you - remembering Dianne F, Diane B and Joanne P. Cheers and much love from the warm west coast! Below is a picture of Dingo Dee Dogg - our newest family member!
