I'm having a blast reading all the profiles. So many interesting and diverse paths people have taken! It'll make conversation easier at the shindig. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone.

Okay Maderans.....Where is the best place to stay in Madera...Keep in mind I was there last in 2000....I'm clueless as to Hotels....I would like to stay in Madera if possible because of the many people and places I want to visit....Any ideas?
Places to stay in Madera, other than at your parents..... 1) Holiday Inn Express 559-661-7400 (north of town, near Home Depot--yes, there's a Home Depot in Madera, and 2 Starbucks even--one right next to this hotel!) 2) Madera Valley Inn --- same place it always was 559-673-5164. You'll have a view of the new Gov't Center. Has a restaurant on site.
