Vote for August

Please vote for a date in August.  I don’t have any children by choice, but I want as many classmate come to the reunion as possible.  If we pick a date after the start of school, anyone associated with education may not be able come.  Some classmates may still have kids in school or guardianship of their grandchildren.

I don’t expect my husband to come, because he does not know any of my classmates.  He came to the 10th reunion was felt let out.  I came alone at the 25th and had a blast.  I do recommend comming alone.

Hi Jane - Terry and I are trying to figure out why Texans have to go to school on Saturday? In Indiana they only go 5 days a week and here in Illinois, we don't start Saturdays until March to give them a chance to catch up.

Just having fun - thanks for the post - Don

Don

A far as I know we don't go to school on Saturday here in Texas, but it does take more then two hours to get to Madison.   When I was in College here in Houston, it took me 18-hours to drive home.  I hope to fly this time.

I voted for August and plan on spending more then one day there.

Good for you Jane!!! Glad you are planning on coming, even if it's "sans the spouse"! (No, Don, I didn't have to look up that word either!  :)  I have a feeling there are several who would like to come who may not have a significant other who wants to tag along.  Keep encouraging and let's try to make this the best yet!  I also agree with inviting Shawe's class of '71. I know other classes in the past have done just that.  Don and Terry are doing a terrific job of organizing and managing this event.  Let's help them spread the word!

"Sans the Spouse" means without the spouse - God bless Google - Debbie - you amaze me.
