Lisa Kugler Cheatham dob: 8/10/1953, death: 8/5/2008
born August 10, 1953, in Anderson IN, the daughter of Glennwood Morris and Helen Kathyrn Klein Kugler. Mrs. Cheatham was a devoted teacher at Southwestern Elementary School for 22 years. During her career, she touched the lives of many students with her enthusiastic, compassionate way. She helped develop the Eagles family, an innovative program devoted to improving continuity of education. In her last year of teaching, she redeveloped the high ability language arts program, a highlight of her career. She attended Ball State University and graduated from Indiana University Southeast where she was named Outstanding Elementary Student of the Year in 1985. Mrs. Cheatham's hobbies included playing tennis in the women's doubles and mixed doubles leagues, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Lisa died Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at 9:30 am at her home in Madison, Indiana.

Lisa will be missed by her loving husband: Mark Cheatham of Madison, Indiana; her loving children: Christopher Thomas Cheatham & his wife: Traci of McCordsville, Indiana, Kyle Mark Cheatham & his wife: Melissa of Omaha, Nebraska; Jennifer Lynn Neff & her husband: Erich of Fishers, Indiana; her brother: Michael Dean Kugler of Huntingburg, Indiana; her sister: Kathryn Ann Chapman of Madison, Indiana; her adoring grandchildren: Alexa Rae & Claire Olivia Cheatham, & Jack Thomas Neff, several nieces, nephews & other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, David Kugler..
There is not a year that goes by that I do not think of Lisa, especially near her birthday and death. She and I were very close friends in junior high. In high school our different subjects at school were totally different and I never had another class with her. New friends were made and we went our separate ways. I will miss her always ☹️
