Let Us Pause To Honor the Memory of
Mrs. Lou Ann Richmond Wells

Mrs. Lou Ann Richmond Wells, age 66, of Madison, Indiana entered into this life on April 8, 1953 in Jefferson County, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of Jerry Lynn Richmond and Mary Lou Sauer Brinson. A life-long resident of Madison, Lou Ann graduated from Madison Consolidated High School in 1971. Lou Ann was united in marriage on July 2, 1972 to David Alan Wells in Madison, Indiana. She was of the Christian faith and had been affiliated with the old Ebenezer United Methodist Church and the Broadway Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, devoted daughter, sister and aunt. Lou Ann loved being a homemaker, playing bingo and reading. Lou Ann had no children of her own but helped raise her baby sister, nieces and nephews whom she treated like her own. She held memberships in the Madison VFW Post No. 1969 Auxiliary and the Major Samuel Woodfill Post No. 9 of the American Legion Auxiliary. Lou Ann, a very giving person, supported many charities. Lou Ann died suddenly on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at 3:16 p.m. at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
A LOVING FAMILY
Lou Ann will be missed by her loving husband of nearly 48 years, David Alan Wells of Madison, Indiana; her loving mother, Mary Lou Sauer Brinson of Madison, Indiana; her brothers, Mark Horton of Pasadena, Texas, Gary Horton of Madison, Indiana; her sisters, Monica Brown and her companion, Tony Cosby of Madison, Indiana, Julie Brinson and her companion, Terry Coleman of Louisville, Kentucky; her brother-in-law, Terence Wells and his companion, Marcella Stewart of Madison, Indiana; her sister-in-law, Valerie Murray and her husband, Phillip of Columbus, Indiana; her uncle, Rev. Ron Sauer and his wife, Dr. Alice Sauer of Louisville, Kentucky; her beloved nieces and nephews, Christy Brown, Takoda Coleman, Toni Horton, Josh Wells, Ian Wells, Lisa Wells, Jailynn Wells, Justin Wells, Dominic Wells, and Marcus Wells; several great nieces, great nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Lynn Richmond, died March 2005, her step father, Robert N. Brinson, died July 2000, her sister-in-law and brother-in law, Pam Wells and Joe Wells.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 22, 2020, at 2:00 p.m., at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Private interment will follow in the Springdale Cemetery, 600 West Fifth Street in downtown Madison, Indiana.

VISITATION
Friends may visit Saturday from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 noon until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
