Let Us Pause To Honor the Memory of
Mr. Kenneth Wayne "Kenny" Guthrie, II

Mr. Kenneth Wayne "Kenny" Guthrie, II , age 65, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on October 3, 1953 in Madison, Indiana. He was the loving son of Kenneth Wayne and Betty Ann Haak Guthrie. He resided all of his life in Madison and was a 1971 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School. He attended Ball State University for four years. On February 14, 1981 Kenny was united in marriage to Patricia Luann Guthrie at the home of Pam and Mike Brindley in Switzerland County. This happy union of 38 years was blessed with two daughters, Jillian Ann and Anna Christine. Kenny retired after 34 years of service with Indiana Department of Highways as a traffic supervisor. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in downtown Madison. Kenny loved music and could play almost any instrument but had a great talent for the guitar. He was an avid walker, loved to swim, watching basketball, boating on the Ohio River, and coaching. He was a loving husband, beloved dad, son, poppa, brother and friend. Kenny died on Saturday, July 27, 2019, at 5:52 p.m. at the Hanover Health & Rehab Center in Hanover, Indiana with his devoted family at his side.

A LOVING FAMILY
Kenny will be missed by his loving wife of 38 years, Patricia Guthrie of Madison, Indiana; his beloved daughters, Jillian Ann Chest and her husband, Michael of Franklin, Indiana, Anna Christine Guthrie and her companion, Justin Turner of Seymour, Indiana; his adoring grandchildren, Brianna Chest, Mia Chest and Bradley Wayne Turner; his loving mother, Betty Ann Haak Guthrie of Madison, Indiana; his loving sister, Carolyn Andrews and her husband, Gene of Madison, Indiana; his father in law, John O. Ralston of Madison, Indiana; his mother in law, Mary A. Chatham Ralston Shaw and her companion, Estill Vernon of Madison, Indiana; his sister in law, Debbie Garrett and her husband, Alan of Madison, Indiana; his brother in law, John Timothy Ralston of Madison, Indiana; his uncles, Robert Dixon and his wife, Ruthie and Bill Dixon and his wife, Ruth; his nephew and nieces, Jeff Abbott, Jenny Brindley and Allison Carrico; several cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Wayne Guthrie, died February 18, 2009, his sister in law, Pam Brindley Raley, died June 17, 2008, his brother in law, Mike Brindley, died January 16, 1998 and his grandparents, Hubert and Lizzie Guthrie and Charlie and Virginia Dixon.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at 7:00 p.m., at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive Madison, Indiana.

VISITATION
Friends may visit Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
