School Story

After high school, I worked as a security guard and a drug and alcohol counselor for a group home in Madison.

I moved to the east coast in 1989 and attended Bucks County Community College where I earned an Associate of Arts degree in Vocal Jazz.

I then studied at Temple University in Philadelphia and graduated cum laud in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, Public Relations & Advertising.

During that time, I also co-founded the band Paint Box (best found on YouTube or Google when searching "paint box philly”).

Twenty-five years later, Paint Box still plays original music three to four times a year for fun.

I also sing and play harmonica for Matt Busby Acoustic.
