PINGREE — Lyman Jeffery Ipsen, 46, of Pingree, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2008, at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident on December 20, 2007. Jeff was born on January 27, 1961, in Malad, Idaho, to Parry and Velma Roderick Ipsen. He was raised and educated in Malad, and graduated from Malad High School. He went on to attend Ricks College for a time. On October 22, 1988, Jeff married Melanie Reed in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Together they had three children, a son and two daughters. Jeff was a member of the LDS Church. He served a mission to the Catonia, Italy mission. He had served in various church callings and was currently serving as an instructor in the elder’s quorum. Jeff was a computer specialist and had worked the last nine years in Idaho Falls for Scientech. Prior to his employment with Scientech he worked for eight years with the Department of Energy, and also worked several years for Valley Office Systems. He enjoyed cooking, photography, golfing, reading, and always liked to learn and further his knowledge. He also was a great handyman and liked to work on repair projects.
