School Story:

During my high school days ,distance from home to our school which is three kilometers away worries me all the time.Specially attendance during mass was highly required. You could just imagine in those days there are only few public transportation available.There's no lift and the heavy rains comes thats the real problem.Still I enjoyed the rain, in fact swimming on the foot ball field was exciting. ha ha ha.
But seriously I have been extremely fortunate to have studied and completed my secondary in HCHS in spite the challenges,trials and obstacles of the distance.
It was during NCEE exams that we have a funny experience together with lilet that we hitch a free ride at the back that very smelly empty trucks (with remnants of cow manure )use in transporting cows from feed lot. We rather take the chance than we will missed the NCEE exams. Isn't that cool? Thanks for that smelly empty cow transporter truck anyway.
I have the most amazing,fond memories from the time spent in the best High School in the world, with the best teachers -Holy Cross High School.During our junior years,unexpectedly, being a representative of the singing contest , we beat the senior . Until now I still sing as church choir every where in the world. I could not forget those stage play where remy is my mother taking a lead role in the school play entitled "Christmas Gift to Berto a blind child " trying hard actors and actresses entire the school campus vying for a slot in acting ,who knows it would be the stepping stone of another Lino Brocka discovery but to no avail instead career in the screen got career here in the desert. ha ha
If you dont know during those years I am the secret fruit vendor ha ha . I sold lots of oranges,guavas and rambutan to all those good clients like Kathleen Hojas and Sheila Labis,bernie suazo,roque namalata etc.. I feel like I am the riches man that time. Thanks to all my good clients and Thanks also to all our dear teachers for their guidance.
A great institution that has produced some great people, leaders and doers like you.
We are all eagerly awaiting the opportunity of getting back in touch with many. Lets get together and have a much LONG-AWAITED REUNION!!!!!!!!!!!

After completed high school I took engineering course in Cagayan de Oro College. On my third year I stopped due some financial hard up and continues only after a year and finished B.S.Chemical Engineering in 1986.
Took my first job in teaching in one of the college in Cagayan de Oro after taking some local jobs in 1998-2004 from sales, I tried my luck in Saudi Arabia worked as a Petro Chemical Construction Safety Engineer . In 2005 took chance in Dubai for other employment opportunity which got me chance to work as Health Safety & Environment Coordinator in Oil and Gas a Construction Company for Gas/Crude oil refinery Plants Algeria in 2010, back in UAE in 2011 and Kuwait in 2014.
