remember when the letter came out telling all of our parents that the records had been transfered to the manassas park city schools. i know the tension in my house  was thick as a new england fog. i just could not understand why my parents would not let me stay with friends they had in the county so i could  finish at stonewall. needless to say i was grounded quite a bit that summer, and my driving privileges were revoked just to home to work and work to home. finally just before school started mom and dad sat me down and made me see things in a different light. they ask me if i would miss rich mosteller and other friends i had in the park, i said yes. "well of you go to the stonewall you will not see them, you will be there they will be here". it was so simple that i never looked at it like that, boy how dumb i felt. you know parents can be cool when they want to be,  lol.
