Moved to Moneta 4 and a half years ago and it was the best move we could have made. Love the school system down here and the overall atmosphere of the town is great. We live in a community at Smith Mountain Lake. We are 45 minutes from either Lynchburg or Roanoke (which is where the malls are)LOL. I managed a Subway for a few years and then went into Court Reporting. The hours are much better. My family is still in Manassas so I visit from time to time.
