 Hello All,

Just to let everyone know, we are having our annual Melanoma Cancer Fundraiser on Saturday January 15th, 6 PM  at the Derrryfield Restaurant. As most of you know, we had a blast last year. They printed 500 tickets for this event. They will not print anymore once they are gone. First come, first serve.  NO BUYING TICKETS AT THE DOOR. We will have a band (Mama Kicks), buffet dinner, live and silent auctions. If you would like to buy tickets you can reach my brother John on this website or call him at 344-2902. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Anne

Happy Thanksgiving to the class of 79.  We all have so much to be thankful for (hey we are all still here  LOL).   Eat, drink and enjoy!  I actually have the day off and my kids and my mother are coming over.  Plus the Pats are playing...could it be a better day?

Having dinner last night someone mentioned it's "reunion season". I thought to myself that I haven't been on here in forever. I don't know why, it's a truly great site. It's designed especially well, but mostly because of the users that provide the content. So here I am, in between doing the weekly bookkeeping and walking Marie's dog (also have to fix the gutter downspout behind the garage).

I see a lot of posts with the number 50 in them. Does November bother anyone else? I mean physically. It seems the last few years when the weather starts cooling off, I hear myself saying "Geez, my knees are killing me! I don't remember doing anything to them". Maybe that's it, I don't know whether I'm getting arthritis or Alzheimer's. The 50 is just a number, just like 40 was. What really made me feel old was when I heard myself saying the same things that my father said (and I swore I would never say).

Good to see people updating with their latest adventures and challenges.

Just some ramblings from an old man on a sunny Saturday morning. Happy holidays to all.

My little sisters reunion 25th is tonight. WOW I am old. Couldn't agree more Chuck it is not you we are getting just a little older and those aches and pains are real. My mind still thinks I am 25 and my body just doesn't get it. Turning 50 in two weeks big deal. My sisters are taking me out for a spa day. Yes I will enjoy this.

Being a big reunion weekend I hope everyone is home and having a wonderful time.

Hope all is well and I hope Thanksgiving was awesome for all of you.

I am sitting here listening to my daughter and her friends who are all home for college and the laughter is so nice.   Life is good!

Take care

Feeling totally inadequate when compared with your Christmas shopping skills, Joni! I've barely begun my shopping and haven't wrapped anything! EEEEK! Typical for me, though... I'll be done when the big day comes.

Glad to hear all is well with you, my dear, and hope the same is true of the rest of the class. Such a busy, busy time of year! Trying to keep track of everything is a real challenge... people going and coming, family events, trying to fit in some shopping... hopefully we'll have time to breathe AFTER the big day, just in time for the New Year!

I'll be joining you at the big 5-0 in a few weeks... don't feel a day over 40! Definitely just a state of mind...

Sooooooo... a very Merry Christmas to all and a bountiful New Year to come!
