I have lived in Vancouver, Washington since 1977 and love it out here. Washington is an extremely beautiful state with mild weather. I married my husband, Michael, in 1990. In past years, he worked as a river patrol deputy for Multnomah County, Oregon. He was also a sales rep and in management for various companies and then owned a Goodyear Tire Shop in Bend, Oregon before retiring. We are very active and involved in church and other social functions with family and friends. We love to entertain, and during one Christmas season, we had over 175 people to our home. We have traveled to Hawaii over 12 times and frequently visit the Oregon coast. We also enjoy camping at Mt. Hood. Mike loves to hunt and fish in North Dakota. I enjoy decorating, needlepoint, oil painting, sewing, and writing, along with swimming and walking. I have a stepson, daughter-in-law and grandson in Priest River, Idaho. As time permits, we come back to visit family and friends in North Dakota. I have worked at Clark County Community Planning for over 35 years and love my job working for the Planning Commission, fiscal budgeting and in charge of the public records program. I plan to retire later this year and become more actively involved in my community helping the poor. I still consider North Dakota my home, and we frequently talk about moving back some day. We will see what the future holds for us.
