Just wanted to tell you all about my cousin and our classmate Peter.  As many of you might remember, Peter played center for Coach Richards as part of our Varsity Basketball team and was with Mr. Chivers in Welding.  He was mostly quiet around school but was friendly to everyone.  Pete was from Manengon and used to drive a huge dark metalic blue Chevy New Yorker to school.

Shortly after graduation we both joined the Navy and attended Boot Camp in San Diego together.  He then went on to Millington, TN where he received advanced training as an Aviation Ordananceman.  After his initial training, he was stationed in TX, VA, CA, HI, and Japan as part of a Patrol and Reconnaissance Squadron.  It was while he was assigned in Barbor Point, HI that he met and married Beth formerly of Pittsburg, PA.  They have a wonderful and beautiful daughter Dana - who recently graduated from Shepard University in Western Virginia and is gettin married in December 2010.

Sadly, Peter passed away while assigned to the USS ENTERPRISE in Philadelphia, PA in July 1990...he was only 26 yrs old at the time.  While it's difficult to believe that we have lost yet another classmate, relative, and friend...our thoughts and prayers go out to them, their familes, and of course their friends that God will watch over us all!

Peter was a good person as I remembered him.   He now rests in peace.
