Our Grade Schools

Here are some pictures that should invoke some great memories--like the Kindergarten bands, the bathrooms in the dungeon,  coal stove next to the teacher's desk, some of those schools still having outhouses, sliding down the fire escape tunnel, cleaning the erasers down in the basement, Red Rover and Kick the Can, and much more. Washington School looks pretty impressive!

This used to be the high school in the real olden days but our Woodrow Wilson elementary school .   We were the last class to finish through the 7th grade there.

  A few of us were in Mason County at LaSalle.

 

     

Living in the "suburb" of Parkdale sent you to this school!

Oak Hill still had an outhouse in '48.
