Wow 20 years! In high school I thought being in your 30's was old. We're not old! Are we?? Since high school, I have had many great experiences. At the top of that list is raising my four boys:) I can hardly believe in just one year my oldest son, T.J. will graduate from high school. Now that makes me feel old! My life seems to revolve around whatever activities my boys are in- which is mainly sports. T.J. age 17 plays football and soccer. Joey age 14 and Mitchel age 10 both play football, basketball, soccer and baseball. And Josh age 8 plays soccer and attends a lot of his brothers' activities! I love going to their games! I'm not sure if the NFL or NBA will ever coime knocking, but I think they are all great:)
I had the opportunity to stay home with them for about 10 years and would not change that time for anything. I also worked for my husband's business (Phil Ruzek Masonry) during part of that time- mostly for taxes- and continue to due so now. When my youngest, Josh started kindergarten I started subbing as an aide at their school (Valders). That was nearly three years ago. I will now begin to work fulltime in September as an instructional aide at the elementary school. I love little people! I will also enjoy having the summer off!
April 9th, 1994 I married my husband, Phil. He graduated from Lutheran in 1985. We met while standing up at a wedding (Susie Kollath-LHS 1989 and Brian Schleis-LHS 1988). We have been married 15 years. We have only lived in one house which was built in 1848. We live about 10 minutes southwest of Manitowoc centered between Valders, St Nazianz, and Newton. It took me about 5 years to like it out here, as I grew up in the city. Our house sustained a heep of damage when the May 2000 hailstorm came through. We still find glass outside every year along with an occaisional piece of shingle. You learn a lot from a storm like that. Like how friends and family and community will always be there for you.
