School Story - What was your experience in high school and beyond?
Wonderful high school experience! I was heavily involved in sports. I played football,basketball,baseball. I was inducted into the innaugural class of the Mankato East Athletic Hall of Fame in 2002. I still attend many East sporting events. I attended MSU-Mankato for two years and I'm a big Maverick booster. I married my high school sweetheart, Amy Lokkesmoe from West. We celebrated our 47th wedding anniversary on July 2. I went to work for the City of Mankato as a heavy equipment operator in September 1979. I worked there 35 years retiring in February 2014. Currently I work a few weeks in the fall for a local farmer doing harvest work. I was an avid long distance runner until May 2023 when I had a left total knee replacement. Now an avid walker! Looking forward to seeing everyone and and attending all of the festivities.
