Michael Smith

Our oldest son Jesse is a senior at The Ohio State University. He will have a degree in Construction Systems Management in the fall of 2009. Our other son Drew is a sophmore at Ontario. Starting point guard for the basketball team and also plays Soccer (varsity).
My wife Tammy has been working for OSU since 1987. We have season football tickets and the games have been alot of fun. Good times and some bad times (when we lose). Not very often.
Unfortunately i've been disabled since 2004. Had back surgery Aug. 2008.(fusion -rods,plates and screws, the works). Still have chronic pain.
Life has kicked us around lately. Tammy was diagnosed with melanoma in her lymph nodes (Arm pit) in 2008. Had surgery and chemo. As of right now she is clean and healthy and doing fine. Its not easy getting older. But I love my family and I wouldn't change a thing. (Well maybe the chronic pain and the cancer). But thats it.

High school was great I tell my kids enjoy, this is the best times of your life.Tom R. and I had some great times. I think the greatest friends of your life are the friends you make in high school. If I need a smile I just think of Tom and all the crazy stuff we did. Also think of Steve Wurth. Pat B.,Jim McNeilis,Jay Kmetz, and Dan F. and many more. I think I remember people more than events.
