Attended U of A in Fayetteville for a year, decided learning to fly was more fun than college and began getting all my ratings. Worked on the farm for my Dad while I learned to fly, spent one semester at Ark State. Got my first flying job towing banners in Ocean City, MD followed by another banner gig in Panama City,FL. Began flying cargo in a DC3 in West Memphis around 1988 which led to getting hired by Northwest AirLink to fly everybody's favorite form of transport, the commuter turbo prop. Worked there and lived in Memphis for nearly 10 years. Met my future wife at Sears one day in the optical department and got married in '95. Took a corporate jet job in Dallas for Bombardier Aerospace which lasted another seven years, had a brief return to the airline world with AirTran in Atlanta until Tyson Foods invited me to come fly for them and return to Arkansas for good.
