Attended Arkansas State where I met Mickey. We got married in 1974 and moved to Bald Knob where he was farming. We bought a farm in Fisher, Arkansas and moved there in 1981. Stayed there 11 years while Mickey was involved in farming and real estate. During this time I returned to Arkansas State to complete my degree. I started teaching high school Spanish and loved it. In 1993 Mickey sold all the farms and went into another business, he is a factor(they buy invoices) and we built a house in Jonesboro. In 2000 my dad died and our first grandchild was born. Since then we moved my mother to Jonesboro, and due to her health problems I have retired to take care of her. She is 80 and for her birthday this year I took her to Paris. This has been a dream of hers for many years. Mickey and I have been blessed and we enjoy our children and our six grandchildren. We love to travel, and since Mickey is a pilot we often take the whole crew on vacations. I stay busy with Mother and the kids and grandkids. I love to cook and am in charge of the Wed. night fellowship meal at church.
