This site doesn"t want me to be "delightfully uninhibited" (my constant comment on my report cards!)

Had to reset password twice!  Looking forward to seeing those of you who can make it!

For those folks attending, our base is The Bier Garten, which is in the middle of the parking lot!

You'll go inside for drinks, a local band is playing, if you want to go inside and dance or sit by the river.

Should be fun!

Sadly, Carol and I will not make our 45th. Have a great time, take lots of pics, don't talk about your medical issues too much as old folks are prone to do:) Remember our classmates who are no longer with us and take lots of pictures. We tend to make the even years, so we're looking forward to our 50th.

Just a quick update and then I will change the profile page.

Back in 2021 Carol and I bought a vacation home in Duck on the beautiful Outer Banks of NC. We plan on "retiring" here. Little did I realize that just a few years later all of my business would shift to the OBX. I still build pools and big outdoor projects, but I also remodel houses. Carol and I have a commuter marriage, I work here all week and she comes down, or I go back up to Norfolk, for a long weekend. The drive is a quick 1.5 hours door-to-door.

Carol has worked a Lee's Friends: Helping People Live with Cancer for 33 years. She is the Executive Director. They are going through a 3-year plan for a changing of the guard as she will retire at 65. I'm going to slow down, but work until I drop. Their small office has 3 staff and they are all planning on leaving together. She is a Ma Jong maven, loves to walk and do spin classes-after she recovers from foot surgery. Her mother, Heike, is a young soon-to-be 81 and the only parent left. Heike just became a great-grandmother to twins yesterday, Carol's brother's side of the family.

Our oldest, Walker, lives just outside of Richmond, VA with his wife of 5-years, Juliana. They have a dog. They are travel junkies. Their goal is to travel to all 7 continents by the time Walker turned 30. This year they are finishing up that goal by going to Australia and Antarctica (Brr). Walker works for Amazon building warehouses and the like. Contrary to what Ozzie says, he is a Rock Star.

Patrick and his girlfriend of 7-years, Christy, bought a townhouse a stones throw away from the beach in Virginia Beach. Patrick loves the outdoors, particularly fishing and the beach. He also works in construction for Armada Hoffler building luxury apartments. His current project is in Raleigh, NC. They also have a dog, a small terrier breed, but we all consider him a terrorist. And yes, he is also a Rock Star. Amazing how all of us have raised Rock Stars!

That's the quick update. Enjoy!
