My most heartfelt prayers go out to you and your children. I have many fond memories of Scott. He was always upbeat about life and a pleasure to be around. I fondly remember speaking with both of you at our 20th. I missed you two at our 30th. Fortunately, I ran into his dad at the Mariemont Inn that weekend. It was good to see and speak with an old friend.
I'll never forget all the snakes Scott liked to keep, particularly the poisonous ones! When one of the vipers go away he and Ted never told his mother out of fear that she would never go back downstairs and do the laundry. What a hoot, and the vipers escaped frequently. It is a wonder his dad never had to rush somebody to the hospital.
In college I remember speaking with my mother about the "camping trips" Scott and I would take to the woods above Mariemont High School (now there are million dollar homes there). We dug out a side of the hill and pitched a tent in the middle of winter. Of course, my mom knew it was our excuse to drink a few beers, I still can't remember how we procured our stash, but she never let on. Since I was the good seed, my brother was the one who snuck out of the window at night, she figured that I would never get into too much trouble. Looking out over the hills of Cincy was a great way to spend a night camping and drinking with a friend. One night it was sooooo cold that we came home at 3AM.

Again, I have many fond memories of Scott.
I will continue to pray for you and the children.
