I remember going over to watch movies at Betsy's house and attending sleep-overs where we would play the Ouija board to stir the spiritial forces.
I remember it was very difficult for her when her mother passed away. She was a wonderful and sensitive person. I am sorry to hear that she is no longer with us.

So sad, but I have a very special memory about Betsy that always makes me smile.
The evening of our graduation, my Mother was dutifully taking pictures in the stands of Kusel Stadium, presumably of her daughter graduating from high school. When the pictures came back(NO DIGITAL BACK THEN!) EVERY picture was not of me, but of BETSY WALKER! O.k, I admit, in my Mother's defense, there might have been a SLIGHT similarity from that distance, but GEEZE, EVERY picture?!?!
I still laugh about it and the photos remain in my scrapbook to this day!

I really miss Betsy and think of her often.
What I remember most about Betsy was her enthusiasm.
She always believed in people and saw the best in them. She would laugh at all my lame jokes. That won her friend points!
Betsy and I had a contest, we swore we wouldn't wear skirts or dresses. We did this for several years and when she died, I went to her visitation wearing black jeans in her honor. What rebels!!!!
She was a good friend.
