I've enjoyed pursuing interests I never knew I had before 1962, i.e., grandkids, gardening, the arts, cooking, traveling, serving in the Stephen Ministry, becoming a Presbyterian, volunteering for literacy, reading, yoga, pilates, pickleball, Elderhostels, besides those interests such as tennis, hiking and golf that I've always had. Life is good, and I hope there's alot more of it.
School Story:

I remember, as a freshman, having to give an oral book report in Mrs. Mansell's class. I chose "Pippi Longstockings" and was so nervous I fell over a trashcan on my way to the front of the class, which only heightened my stage fright. I'm no better today at public speaking.

I remember Miss McElroy's "axolotal" in the fish tank in the biology lab.
