I am HEAVILY involved in music. When away from the day job, I play in several bands (a nationally touring Pink Floyd tribute called Project Pink, , a jazz combo here and there, the occasional alt country gig), and I still operate a recording studio called green|shoe|recordings.
School Story:

Band/choir geek, runner, tendencies toward nerdliness... ;)

Some cross country friends and I slept in the back 40 once and hid from the cops by climbing the light poles around the football field....

And I seem to recall burning a small portion of my right hand off by inadvertantly turning a Gatorade bottle into a butane-fueled rocket.

And my entire graduation speech centered around lyrics from various Vanilla Ice songs. Fun.
