After graduating mid-term I joined the Marine Corps Reserve, got married, then transfered into the active duty Air Force. While in the Air Force at the end of my first enlistment my first wife and I parted ways, 3 years later I married my current wife Stacey, man did I win the lottery with this one, we have 3 children the oldest from my first marriage and 2 younger children another boy and then a girl. We bought a house in Springfield Nebraska (which is just 5 miles southwest of Omaha) and have lived here since 1999. We lived in Marion untill 1998 when the beginning of the plant closings began. I worked in a chlorine packaging plant while my wife finished college. After she graduated she said it was my turn, after much encouragement from here I took a placement test, and landed a work study job on campus. When not in class or work I coach my daughters softball team and assist on her soccer team. Joseph my 12 year old is in 6th grade band and also plays soccer. For those that began to laugh when you read that I am in college, (your not the only one, I had quit a chuckle about it myself) after two and a half years I am maintaining a 3.49 GPA, hard to believe huh!
Believe me I was more surprised than you. As you recall my grades at Eastbrook were far from stellar. Well when this is all said and done I will have 2 degrees the first in Secondary Education History/Physical Education, the second degree will be in Continued Studies with an emphasis on History. Yes History the same guy who once named the Cherokee and the Apache among the 5 civilized tribes LOL. Thats where I am now I hope this finds all my classmates in an even better position than mine. I have listed my phone number so anyone who wants to catchup then by all means give me a call, although I am chasing my tail on most days I can always find time for old friends.
