Mike- I googled the Godinos and they died in 1936 so the picture was prior to that year. I didn't find anything on Betty Fox. This photo copy was given to me by Stuart Koblenz who researched the Marion mileposts publication for the Historical Society. You can click on the photo and download it to your computer Stoney!

Jan Stuart is one of the moderators on Growing Up in Marion, Ohio. He may have started the group? Stuart got married, and they moved to Maryland I think? He is going by Stuart Haley now. Do another Google search for Betty Fox pole sitter, there are 3 articles on her.
 
I don't know if Stuart posted the picture before on GUIMO, I'll post it and see what people have to say.
