David T. Byrnes, 40, 1201 Inwood Drive, died Sunday (7/19/1987) in Marion General Hospital.

He was born in Marion April 13, 1947, and was a former employee of the Whirlpool Corporation, having worked there for 20 years.  Mr. Byrnes was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his parents, Edward J. and Ernestine M. Bausinger Byrnes, with whom he made his home; four brothers, E. James Byrnes III, Wadsworth, Stephen J. Byrnes, Jacksonville, Fla., Timothy C. Byrnes, Marion and Peter M. Byrnes, Chardon: and three sisters, Mrs. Robert (Patty) Schneider, Shawnee Hills, Mrs. Richard (Carol) McCoy, Heath, and Mrs. Mark (Sarah) Jones, Richwood.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary Church.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.

Friends may call at Gunder-Hall Funeral Home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.  A parish prayer service will be conducted there at 4 p.m.
