Rosianne Margaret DeFranks

MARION - Rosianne Margaret DeFranks, 60, passed away on Sunday, Dec 30, 2007, at Heartland of Marion.

She was born on Dec. 12, 1947, in Brownsville, Pa., and was raised first in Nice, France and then in Marion, Ohio.

She graduated from Marion Catholic High School and attended OSU Marion Branch.  She resided for many years in Tucson, Ariz., where she was involved in fine arts and championed animal rights.  Rosianne graduated in 1993 with high honors from Pima Community College in fine arts.  Very recently, Rosianne returned to Marion to make her home here once more.

She is survived by her parents, Dominic and Leonie DeFranks, Marion; sister, Joelle Defranks, Tucson, Arizona as well as uncles, aunts, cousins, and second cousins both in the States and in France.  Rosianne will be greatly missed.

A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2007 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Bill Ferguson presiding.  Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.  Gunder/Hall & Fulk Funeral Directors are handling the Arrangements.
