My condolences to David and Jennifer.

We lost a fellow classmate and a good friend on July 27, 2023.  Maryann had gone through some hard times the last few years, but always had a positive attitude.  She was a caring person and never had a bad thing to say about anyone.  Always enjoyed working with her on class reunions, sharing jokes with her, Tim, and Dan and working through problems on the class website.  I remember her telling me that she had put flowers on Charley’s grave and put some extras on my parents’ grave.  That meant a lot.

You will be missed my friend.   Ski

Yes, Maryann was a super friend!   From being neighbors there on Oak Street throughout our grade school and high school days, she and her family were always super-great!    It seems that she was always upbeat, quiet, and friendly, even when she was going through her rough times with her illness.   We will always recall the hard work that she and Charley went through at the restaurant, and then that terrible news when there was that devanstating fire!   We all know that Maryann was an awesome person, and know that she is in a much better place with her friends and parents!   Adios, Maryann!             ..Ed Vogel

Maryann was such a kind and gentle person. Quiet, not demanding attention, but always with a sparkle in her eye and something nice to say. I can imagine the joy when she and Charley were reunited in heaven!

It's difficult to lose someone you've been friends with since first grade... but my memories of Maryann's sweet traits are the same from 1st grade to her battle with cancer: gentle, humble, sweet, kind, loving, peaceful, strong, persevering and always faith-filled at all times.
No doubt Maryann is with God, in whom she put all her trust. She is also with her loved ones, especially Charlie... I'm sure they are cooking up a storm for the huge party they're throwing to celebrate Maryann's Arrival!! :)

Prayers and condolences to her loving Family !

Rita

It is so hard to hear about the passing of Mayann. She had such a positive additude and outlook on life. I wish that I had gotten to know her better. My condolences to her family. We certainly lost a special person.

I delayed to express my thoughts about Maryann because they seem so inadequate.  She was such a good person.  A great listener, a caring friend, always lending a helping hand.  She had her cross to bear with her recent fight with cancer, but it never changed her attitude.  She was such a team player when it came to helping with MCHS things. She is in a better place and I smile when I think of her and Charlie together in heaven!

It is hard too imagine Mary Ann being gone.  She was such a good friend growing up.  She and I had reconnected several years ago in Frisco when we happened to find out that both our daughter were living there at the time.  Then at the 50th reunion we got to visit again.  She brought a scrapebook that had a post card I had sent her from a trip when we were teens and a small picture I had drawn for her at one point.  Imagine keeping all that!  She was such a thoughful, caring person and bore all her crosses so well.  RIP Mary Ann and Charlie!
