Michael Burris

July 20, 1947 — February 24, 2020

Michael Patrick Burris, 72, of  Mount Vernon died Monday February 24, 2020 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus.

Mike was born on July 20, 1947 in Marion, Ohio to Robert and Ann{ Zink} Burris.

He graduated from Harding High School.

He married Teresa Hoffman on November 24, 1967.

He worked for over twenty years for Marion Power Shovel, but always put his family first.

Mike will be deeply missed by his wife Teresa, of Mount Vernon; son Brian K. Burris; daughter Shelley Burris; and  step-daughter Cindy McMullen;  many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Robert Burris; sisters Linda Howard-Syck, and Julie McKinniss; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents.
