First Website Visit

If you are new to this website please read this page as it will answer all of your questions on how to get a password, make a profile and how to use the website.

This website was created at www.classcreator.com website and is maintained by your initial family administrators Lee Duff, and Jack Farr. Eventually additional administrator support will be included.
Our website is www.farrfamily1915.com and is registered (initially for two years) for the exclusive use of our family. The registration can be extended as necessry, and we plan to routinely do so.
Classcreator’s originally programmed these websites for Classmates to use for communication and perennial contact. They were commonly used to accommodate activity surrounding High School Reunions. They have recently included adjustments for other participants to share activities. Occasionally the word Classmates still appears and we just need to translate that into Family Members.

You have the option of password protecting your personal profile which blocks the general public and search engines from accessing your profile details.  Once you create a profile, you will also be able to see the profiles of your fellow family member’s and interact with them.  Each profile will eventually have the family member’s photo. If you do not prefer the photo we have chosen for your profile, please furnish us with a replacement. once you establish your profile you will be able to add your own photos and videos, edit your profile, and post a comment to an obituary under the "In Memory" option.

Not all family members have a computer or an email address.  They may visit a public library, tap a friend, contact a family member, or befriend a neighbor, and give us an update on their profile when they become aware of the site. Families, of course, can share an email address and merely establish a unique password for each member. Note: When family members share an email address and we send one email to all family members, in a single mass email; each member with their own password will get an email. It will be sent to the same email address, but, not addressed to each member individually.

When you contact a family member who does not have a computer or email address, please make them aware of our website and web address.

You will need to make your individual profile in order to access any password protected pages on the site.  Start by clicking on the Family Profiles link. This will take you to a page with all your family member’s names, including yours. Find your name and click on it.  Follow the prompts to create your profile. The password that you enter during this process will be used as your login password. You can personalize your page with information such as, your occupation, Comments (your choice), Family Memories, and videos.   Occupation, Comments, Family Memories, and videos are totally optional and voluntary. They also can be added at a later time if you wish to amend your profile at another time.

You will not see or be able to participate in the MEMBER FUNCTIONS until you complete your individual profile and login.
If you click "Remember Me" when you log in, you will not need to log in next time you go to the site. Note there is a password retrieval feature. Click on: "Forgot Password?" when you need to log in and can't remember your password; the new password will be sent to your email inbox. When you receive your new password you can log in, and change this password to whatever you choose. You can login from computers other than your home computer, but you will need to enter your password. Families can share email addresses and merely need to establish unique passwords for each individual.

If you can not find your name on the Family Profiles page, please contact us to have your name added. Let us know if we miss a member of your family.

If you change your email address, regular home mail address, or phone number, please update those in your profile so when we download a hard copy we will have your correct information.

Please check back with the Home page, where main information and announcements are made.

Enjoy and have fun with the website!!
