School Story:

In the spring of 1957, we had just moved to Marshalltown. Lanny Cowell, Dave Lawrence, and myself played hookey and spent the day at the river missing track. My mother brought my lunch to school as I had forgotten it. We were suspended for one day. B.R. Miller was so gracious I never felt like we were punished.
