50 YEARS! Where has the time gone. We all had such a special time together. We started on Thursday evening at Reunion Hall in Waco . Then met on Friday at the Mart Cemetery to put our float together. It was a perfect day for Homecoming. Then on to have lunch at MeMaw’s. Such delicious food. We then went to visit our Alma Mater. So many memories there. Our new schools are beautiful but hearts will always be at original location. . Parade time! Where can a major highway be closed down for a parade, MART, TEXAS! This group loved throwing candy to the crowd. We then went to the Mart Ex Student Reception. Karan Rowe and her crew do such a wonderful job with decorating and food. Karan was presented the Distinguished Alumni Award Plague for her dedication and hard work to the community. . We walked to the football field for an Exciting night of Mart Panther Football. The stands were full of Ex’s and Fans. The Panthers pleased the stands with a win of 78-0 over the Frost Polar Bears. . The Class of 71 missed our other classmates but were so happy to have this special time together. Once a Panther Always a Panther.
