Comments:

A few things I have been up to since MEMS (and a very brief stint at MHS freshman year):
* Graduated from Cathedral
* Bachelor's from Purdue with a major in communication and minor in English
* Worked at The Times of Northwest Indiana for 9 years at various editing jobs. While I worked there, I lived in Chicago, Merrillville, Hammond, and Munster.
* Moved back to Indy in 1998 to work at The Star as an assistant features editor. Have lived since then in the Glendale area near Broad Ripple, close to where I lived before my Martinsville days.
* I've been teaching at Avon High School since 2005. I commute from the northeast side of Indy, but the school is great.

School Story:

I am cheating since I did not attend MHS for very long at all. My stories are from MEMS.
- One day in Mr. Heathe's music class, Don Reuter was pretending (I think) to be drunk. We were sitting in the little enclosed room behind the classroom supposedly working on a project. Don kept threatening to expose himself. I can't remember who the other girl was, but Brad Shields was sitting with us. We kept looking away when Don said he was going to whip it out, and he and Brad would act like he was really doing it. Never knew if he really did and never wanted to find out :)
