Dean was a great guy. I never really got to know him until after high school. He was one of my best friend's step-brother growing up. Wish he were still here and I know he's missed by many.

This is from your wife even though it will show up as Davey. I miss you, especially this time of year.

For those who didn't know you as an adult, they missed a sweet person with a love for children and animals that I've never seen in another person. My sister's children still speak of you often, after almost 6 years. What a huge influence you were on them...of course what other uncle would do ballet with his neice, wearing longjohns for tights...or piggyback a 3 year old on a 2 1/2 mile hike...or build a blanket fort with chairs in the middle of the livingroom to play rodeo.

I'll see you on the flip side with Michelle.

Love, Amy

You were such a great guy and I was stopped in my tracks when Tom Henson called and said you had been killed. My thoughts immediately went back to high school...to the life we all had back then...to all the things that were important to us and all the people we loved but don't see anymore. Man, to be able to live just one of those days again-- I'd hug every damn one of you.

Godspeed, Deano.
