I went to Dale's funeral in Southern Indiana, and I remember thinking that he would have hated that little town. Too much like Brooklyn. We used to get together and watch the Celtics in HS. Huge Celtics fan. I thought about it alot when the Celtics won this year. He had a spare bedroom we put posters all over of the big Celtics names back in the 80's. He was just about to buy into a Dominos franchise when he died of alcohal poisoning. The ambulance came, and told his grandparents he needed to sleep it off. 30 minutes later he died. He was always depressed about his weight...more like angry because there was truly no way for him to lose it. Man, he was fun to be around sometimes. He bought a beer when we turned 21 that he was going to drink when Purdue wins the National Championship. I still have it....probably will for a long time.
I remember the good times with Dale. He took a pic of me in the restroom at school with a cigarette in my mouth and he said {it is going in the yearbook Tim} but i got the pic. we all miss you BIG GUY.
