Michael Wayne "Mike" Nail, 49, a lifelong Morgan County resident, passed from this life suddenly on Friday, February 1, 2019 at his home. He was born on October 10, 1969 in Indianapolis to Michael Eugene and Beverly Rose (Chambers) Nail. 
He graduated from Martinsville High School with the class of 1988. Mike was a proud Local 301 Union Carpenter and was a dedicated employee of Keen Company in Indianapolis. He married the love of his life and his soulmate, Nicole "Niki" Flinn, on February 15, 2013.  
Mike was a hard worker and an incredible handyman. In his free time, he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding ATVs. A big-hearted family man, he loved his children and grandchildren. Another one of his greatest joys was time spent with his wife. Many will forever remember his stubborn nature and his quick wit.  
He will be deeply missed and fondly remember by his family and friends including his wife, Niki Nail of Paragon; son, Trenton Miller of Martinsville; daughters, Brittany Taylor (husband, Tyler) Grounds of Martinsville, Brittany Ann Miller of Tampa, FL (where she is attending college), and Kyleigh Donas Nail of Martinsville; mother, Beverly Nail of Greenwood; and grandchildren, Avery Grounds and Asher Grounds both of Martinsville.  
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Nail. 
Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm and on Monday, February 11, 2019 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the chapel at Neal & Summers Funeral and Cremation Center in Martinsville. A funeral service celebrating his life will be on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Kevin Able officiating.
