Wow, where did 25 years go?! Thanks Steve for putting this website together. Everyone looks great!
I attended Pattonville High School. My first part-time job was at the McDonald's on Dorsett. I worked on / off there while in school. Mike Hritz & Chris Dames also worked there. Some of you know my friend Heather & that's where I met her. I played soccer for Pattonville my freshman & part of my sophmore year & then made the big mistake of quitting because of work - ugh! What I wouldn't do to be playing again.
After high school I went to Hickey School for their 10 month secretarial program. With about 2 months left I fell in love with school & started wishing I would have went to college. With my parents paying for me to go there, I went ahead & started working full-time. A year later I then started attending Meramec Community College part-time not sure of what I wanted to do.
In 1990 I met Carl through a friend from Pattonville. He also went there & graduated in 1984. We got married in 1992 at St. Blaise (Mr. Lee played the organ!) & moved to O'Fallon, MO. I then attend St. Charles Community College. I became interested in Occupational Therapy & started taking classes to try & transfer into SLU's program. By that time OT was becoming a popular field. Around the time I applied to SLU Carl was talking about starting our family. I told him if I didn't get accepted, we would start our family - getting pregnant was easier than getting into SLU! I didn't get accepted & along came Justine. I did end up after 10 yrs finishing my Associates of Arts Degree when pregnant with Paige.
Now we're so busy with them in school, sports, 4-H & Girl Scouts I haven't even thought about going back to school. Fortunately I work with a great group of people, love my job & it's flexible with having a family.
Last of all, in my BC days (before children days) I did bodybuilding in 1995! It was an awesome experience! I competed in 2 shows. I worked out 6 days a week, twice a day for 10 months with a trainer & followed a strict diet. You would never know it by looking at me now. : ) With having a family & being on the go, I can barely get exercise in a few times a week, much less like I did back then.
Can't wait to see everyone on March 28th!!!!
