Robert (Bob) Mendenhall

After graduating from MUHS I joined the Army. After basic in Fort Ord I was stationed at Ft. Leninwood, Missouri. From there I was at Scofield Barracks in Honolulu. Then I went to Okinawa, Midway, 'Nam, Guam and back to Hawaii. Discharged in 1963.

I drove truck for over 44 years, over 2,000,000 miles accident-free. Retired in 2006. My children and grandchildren all live near me and I see them often. My hobbies are building model airplanes, model railroads and custom decorative bird houses. My latest passion is building 3D wooden puzzles.

I have great memories of my years at Marysville High. I made many wonderful friends, some that I've kept in touch with thru the years. It will be so much fun to see everyone at the reunion.
