Shirley Samons Fetterman

Married Dean Fetterman in 1960. Dean spent 21 years in the Navy where we did alot of traveling. He then went on to a civil service job for another 20 years. Over all those years we lived in many places also overseas. I pretty much was a housewife untill both boys were grown, than I was a teachers aide for many years.We have lived here in Whidbey Island for 25 Years. Our oldest son Eric lives a 30 minute ferry ride from us. He is married to Becky, they have 3 children ranging in age from six to 18. Our youngest son Curt, lived in Las Vegas with his wife Virginia, And there daughter Victoria, who is 25 and any day now will make Dean and I great Grandparents, WHAT........ I am very saddened to report our youngest son in Las Vegas, Curt, died suddenly of a massive heart attack on December 14 2007. It is a daily process I think that Dean and I will never get over. We are so greatfull he was in our lives. So we now do alot of traveling in our 5th wheel. We really enjoy that. Really looking foreward to this 50th reunion, hope to see all of you there. I came to Marysville High in my mid freshman year. Before that lived in the bay area. I loved MUHS had a great time had many friends and was quite involved in A Cappella choir, Senior girls choir and Girls choir and the Record club. It is also where I met the love of my life Dean Fetterman. I have great memories of those years spent at MUHS. I really enjoyed my High School Years....
