That's true Debbie, our names are on the waiting list for the nursing home, and since we will be roommates, we will share the wheel chair and ride togther to the reunion in the vette. I'll drive if you will change the gears. Bobby, can your grandson, Bradley be back up for Debbie and I? You know, you always have to have a back up plan in case these old cars won't start!!!!

Hey Bobby and Ladies, Sorry I've not been on lately, but working for a trauma center you don't get much free time. I'll have Lifestar bring me to this reunion. Bobby, You got remember we had the hottest girls at Everett. I wouldn't want anybody elses. So eat your heart out Maryville and the rest of old rivals. I be checking back soon.

Mike your right we did thats why I got my wife there. You might want to have Life star stand by at the parking
lot across the street in case we have to leave in a hurry I'll ride with you.I sure wish I had paid more attenion in typing class in stead of looking at all the girls but I didn't really know at that time I would need to know how to type.It looks like we are the only 4 people that reads this page.

Which Shoney's??

08/17/08 10:55 PM #16

Debbie Pickel (Harper)

I'm just a little worried about being able to still eat all of that wonderful food at Shoneys in 2043, but I guess by that time that dentures will be much better. I hope I don't forget to put my false teeth in before I leave the nursing home. Do you know what day in 2043? I want to be sure to be prepared!

08/18/08 07:02 AM #17

Mike Thomas

I don't know which Shoneys, but Susan willlet us know. That is if she will be able to remember. The food will be good and company even better. Debbie, I would not be concerned about false teeth all the food will be in pill form. Have a good day my friends.

Traci Lobetti (McGill)

DANG GUM, I WOULD LOVE TO JOIN EVERYBODY AT SHONEY'S, BUT I WILL STILL BE ONE OF THEM (BLANKS) ISSUING DRIVER LICENSE WALKING AROUND WITH A WALKER, CAUSE STUPID ME, JUST BUILT ANOTHER HOUSE AND HAVE A SPOILED BRAT THAT SAYS HE IS NEVER LEAVING HOME. OLE BY THE WAY, I USED TO BE A SHONEY QUEEN. I COULD MAKE THEM STRAWBERRY PIES JUST LIKE THE REST OF THEM. THROW THE BERRIES (WITH MOLD) IN THE CRUST AND THROW THE TOPPING ON, CAN'T TELL THE DIFFERENCE. SEE YOU ALL AT THE REUNION. LOOK FOR THE TWO GRAY HAIRED BEER BELLY COUPLE AND THAT WOULD BE US.

08/18/08 08:23 PM #19

Susan DeLozier

lol! Traci, you are 2 funny...you are not in charge of the desserts at the reunions from now on...Kathy...I think that the Shoneys on Morganton Road is closer to the nursing homes and a lot safer than us trying to drive Alcoa Highway...what do you think? I'm sure that they will put our food in the blender for us, Debbie. You ever had sausage gravy bloody mary? (I hope they grind up that celery too!) Mike, we will probably have to get them to dissolve the pill for us or at least cut it up several times. And lifestar needs to be across the street in case we get it caught in our throat...Bobby, you are such a dear great friend having your great grand kids haul us all around....tell them we will try to not smell like pee and not spill the beer on their seats.

08/18/08 09:42 PM #20

Debbie Pickel (Harper)

Traci, I am so glad that you will still be issuing drivers licenses in 2043! I am sure they will not let me have one by then, but I know you will make me one up, right?!! Can you put a really pretty picture on mine too?? Mike, thanks for settling my nerves by letting me know I can eat my Shoneys meal in pill form! Maybe we could put all those pills in Susan's blender with the celery! And forget walkers...I want one of those electrical wheelchair thingies ...would be nice to have one that looks like a 68 Mustang (fastback of course!) or maybe a 72 Chevelle! yeah!

Bobby Bradley

Kathy it will have to be Shoneys on Morganton rd as Shoneys on Alcoa hwy would be to dangerous. You know Susan is always right even when she is wrong. Now I have spoken with Shoneys an they told me sense We were planning this so early. They said no problem on the food they will have plenty of GERBER baby food.So we will be having strained peas, apple sauce, turkey an strawberries an last but not least prunes good for the system you know!!!!Now I can already see some trouble.Debbie you want be in the nursing home if you go into the NUNHOOD like you said in your profile. You will be at the CONVENT.We need to get that cleared up would not want to send the grand kids to wrong place to pick you up.Traci you can hold up on the license may not need picture either. It really want matter how we get there nobody will be able to see good enough to tell what we arrive in.

08/19/08 12:55 AM #22

Bobby Bradley

Susan I forgot grand kids said they would bring plenty of huggies an wet wipes so dont worry everythings going to be Great! Traci please tell us what a ShoneyQueen is.I tried to look it up in the Webster's desk dictionary could not find any thing in there about it.

Just wanted everybody to know I will put Lifestar on calland have stomach pumps and other life support system on hand. Don't expect me to do CPR on you Bobby that reserved for the ladies.

08/19/08 12:43 PM #24

Bobby Bradley

Mike dont worry you want have to do cpr on me.Thats why I married a younger woman she will take care of it she has RED CROSS training. But I am sure there will be a long line of ladies wanting to help.If she gets tired before help arrives . I am sure it will be like going to Krystal they will all have numbers.

08/19/08 01:25 PM #25

Kathy Phillips (McBride)

I'll be driving my jet pack so I can help airlift out any casualties. I do believe Morganton Rd. will be better also, but I was thinking of parking spaces more than kamikaze dives across Alcoa Hwy. Since I am from Lakemont, I learned to drive that way from the start. Traci, we can have old fart poker. I'll see your beer belly and up it a double chin.

08/19/08 03:09 PM #26

Debbie Pickel (Harper)

but...but...I don't want to be air lifted because I would have to leave my beloved 1968 fastback Mustang electric wheelchair!!!! I will have my purple pocketbook hanging on one handle, and my oxygen pump on the other!

08/19/08 06:34 PM #27

Mike Thomas

Debbie,we make room for your wheels. Bobby I thoughr we would do the CPR as a team. You take half and me take half. Just so long as our spouses don't mind. My get a little jealous sometimes. I am really getting excited about this. I think it going to be a blast.

08/19/08 06:50 PM #28

Bobby Bradley

Mike I am not trained in cpr sorry I can't help just dumb old body man.All I know how to do is fix cars.

08/20/08 12:29 AM #29

Pat Wheeler (Poole)

2043...I can see it now- Shoney's will never be the same... The fire marshal will have to close the place down because of fire code violations--too many wheelchairs blocking the aisles. Many are demented with feeding tubes, but still having a great time sharing stories. Of course, can't see or hear--all the hearing-aids will be squeaking loudly. Since we can't remember, the tales are always hysterical.

08/20/08 12:43 AM #30

Bobby Bradley

Pat with all the skills you have according to your profile we need to make sure your there for us 2043.

08/20/08 03:46 PM #31

08/20/08 07:59 PM #32

Mike Thomas

08/20/08 10:35 PM #33

Susan DeLozier

This is so much fun....Who knew so many of us classmates had humor....well, maybe we need to be thinking of a closer reunion, say 40? Who wants to do what for the 40th? Who wants to be on the planning & development committee? Sign up now, spaces are limited! And I like the sound of the game "old Fart Poker" I'm in....saggin body parts and all.....

08/21/08 02:27 AM #34

Bobby Bradley

Susan I was really getting worried about YOU hadn't heard from you in 2 days.I am going to call COULTERS FLORIST first thing in the morning an cancel the FLOWERS.I thought you had died.I think we need to keep same reunion planners for the 40th.Mike I try hard to be a good body man may not be the best.Danny are you going to be in charge of the BAND? For the 40th reunion.I can play poker I will raise 2 solar panels.I will be in charge of the ICE CREAM.
