Well, the Pickel (that would be me) and Diane Welch Welch had a WONDERFUL time at Tybee Island the last few days...82 degrees, total sunshine, warm ocean water, warm sand, beach umbrella, good book to read, "a few" nice male eye candy to look at (hey, we are single so it's legal), great food, and gobs of laughs. Great time!

Hey Pickel - Way to rub it in. I'm just grateful to have several days of sunshine in a row. Hope everyone is getting ready for the holidays. If I don't start now I'll never be done.

Good evening, classmates. I haven't been on here for awhile but since I now have Internet at home again, I'll be able to check in more often.

To all who are grieving right now, please know you're in my prayers. To all who are sick, let us know and we'll pray for you, too. Susan has made this forum a wonderful vehicle for prayer requests and I appreciate it so much. Reconnecting with old friends and classmates has been such a joy, and I am thankful for each one of you. Oh, and Roger: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Fellowclassmates, I I was reading Linda B. piece in todays Times and it got me to thinking of how truly blessed I am. I have a beautiful wife, loving mother, a sister who loves me even though alot of people don't know me as her brother. I've got a niece who has given birth to two boys in whom I am very proud of. I have A nephew who is proudly a minister of the greatest person on earth or in heaven for that matter. His name is Jesus Christ and I call him my Saviour and my LORD. My life has not produced alot of wealth or popularity, but I proud to be an American and A veteran. I did not go to war but I'm in a war everyday against one who wants to destroy me,but as long as I got King Jesus I know I got the victory. I want everyone to know one thing I'm proud to be a member of the class of 1973 from Everett High School. I wanted to thank God for letting me renew freindships and make new friends within our class I've madealot of friends over the years and even more recently. Some you you may not count me as a friend and that's okay because I want you to know Jesus died for everyone of us and if we believe in Him we are brothers and sisters,so guess what. Your going to have to live with me in heaven forever. If I hurt anyone I sincerely apolize and I ask forgiveness. Let's remember our soldiers who are defending our freedoms as we eat our Thanksgiving meals this Thursday. Well, I'm done preaching now so to all God Bless and Good night.

Well it almost Christmas and I have been given one of the best gifts a person can recieve. That being reunited with old friends and making new ones. Even though we lost a good man this year Iknow he would want us to carry on. I miss you Mark and I will always value our friendship. To all the Class of 73, I wish all the Best in 2010 and a very Merry Christmas. Lets keep some time open in the new year to get together. I want to say Thanks to my creator for loving me enough to send his son to die for me and paying the ulimate cost for my sins with his own life. If I don't get to see you all again on this side of heaven it's my prayer that I will see you all again in heaven. I LOVE YOU ALL. Mike

This is going to be a sad time for many of us as we think of the family members and friends we have lost, but remember that the Child born so many years ago came that we might have eternal life. We'll see our loved ones again, and our Lord himself will wipe every tear from our eyes. Think on this when you see those empty places at the Christmas table. We have much rejoicing to do!

Merry Christmas, classmates. I love you all and I am so glad we have reconnected after all these years.

Bobby, I'm glad you like having men in Women's Times now. I did that just for you as an early Christmas present!
