yes Mike, she did marry Larry soon after high school.  they were not married long before he was killed.  (was it lightning strike while he was fishing?)

Little V is growing and has the sweetest personality.  i started watching her yesterday so her mommy could go back to work.  i get to sit with her 2 days a week.:)

 Hey, y'all...

Just wanted to give a shout out to y'all.  Hope you are having a great time this summer.

Since I live in Nashville, does anyone go to Alcoa pool?  I have not been there in 100 years.  O.K., O.K.  I understand that we are not THAT old!  I spent a lot of time there in the summer as a kid and had a ton of fun.  Of course, had to go to A&W after a good swim.  Just love the french fries there.

How are the mountains?  Anyone gone hikin'?  In August, we are headin' for the trails in the GSMNP.  YIPPPPPPEEEEEE!!!!!

Well, just wanted to see how everyone is doing.  Eat lots of fresh tomatoes, green beans, and corn on the cob (with a ton of butter on it!).

Talk w/y'all later,

"C"

(Cindy Gibson)

Hi Cindy and the gang,

I had company this week and we took the kids (little kids.......not us) to the Alcoa Pool on Friday. We all had a blast. It is still the great place to play and the kids loved it.  I used to take my boys there everytime we came home for the summers. My two boys never grew up here, but love to go to Alcoa Pool whenever they come to visit.

I also took my friends camping at Look Rock! We saw 6 bears. We saw 2 big bear and 4 cubs in two days. I told my friends that they were lucky, because tourist go all summer and never see a bear. We had one bear that tried to help us eat our bacon for breakfast - very up close and personal. The  cacades almost drove me crazy up there. I swear, I don't remember them being that loud when I was growing up! We had a fun time!

We are putting in a fireplace pit and patio in the backyard. Maybe we can all get together and have a marshmellow roast at my house when the weather cools down! I would love that!  Cindy, call me next time you come to town.  Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer! Oh, my other son, Garrett is moving here at the end of July. We are so excited!

Hi bulldogs, I ran into Mr. Davis today At Krogers. He looking real good. We need to put him and his family on our prayer list. He has had to put his wife in a nursing home.  It good to see Chuck M. on the profile list. Has anyone heard from Danny Woods? He was supposed to move by here. I was wondering if he 's back. Remember to pray for Susan D. Johnson and her husband. He is out of the country. I know she like for us to remember them. Well, I've talked to long so I'll close. Mike
