I'm sure I can locate a little black dress in my Goodwill adventures..I'm very cheap--ha ha---I'll coordinate with Susan or Cindy Gibson--Cindy sews for Dolly Partin---just how many sequins do you want on that dress????

Linda Braden (Albert)

Sandy, thanks for letting us know about Pam and Ricky. I may be misremembering this, but didn't Larry Borden get killed when lightning struck him on the lake while he was waiting out a storm? For some reason, that sticks in my mind. I wish our archives went back past 2000, I could look up a lot of these obits if they did.
Now, as for Bobby and his dress, all talk and no action! Get on the ball, buddy, there are women your size out there who have little black dresses so I know Pat or Debbie or Susan would be able to find you one and make it as flashy as you want. I'll spring for the pantyhose when you get all your sequins in order. I'll bet Max would help with part of your outfit, too, in appreciation for all that body work.

Linda, You are right Larry was killed by lightning not long after graduation. His dad was my god-father. It was great seeing everybody and renewing old friendships. Bobby, don't worry about the dress you find your size. I hope to recieve an email from someone soon or I may think I'm in the dog house. Sorry if I was to long winded the other night. Once I get started I can't stop. This for John West If nominated I will not run. Thanks for thinking about me . Let all remember to keep our profiles up to date. thanks again Susan,Debbie, and Diane Welch Welch.

Hey, it was great to see everyone, and I love that the message forum lives on! I think everybody should get Bobby a black dress, and he can do a runway show for us. What size shoes do you wear Bobby????

Diane Welch (Welch)

Does anyone know the whereabouts or what has happened to other classmates who didn't make the reunion or have not put their information on the classmates profile? There are a few who work at the hospital. Susan Best (she is on there), Connie Lequire Bryant and Nancy Maples Evans all work here. Post it if you have any information.

Hey Guys,

Bobby, I have all your problems solved about the "little Black Dress"! I have a dress that fits anyone and everyone. It is stretchy and looks simply great on any body type (even yours I bet!). Several of my friends here in Williamsburg have borrowed the dress for nights out on the town. We laugh - we call it our "sisterhood of the traveling little black dress" I am sure brotherhood would work also. And after you wear it, anyone else from the Class of 73 can borrow it! It truly fits all!

Jane Loftis - Great to see you on the message forum. It would have been great to see you again. Yes, you were shy, but we had some fun times - REMEMBER! Promise, you won't miss the next one! I'll swing by and pick you and Sandy Smith up!

Mike Thomas can lead us in Karoke! Mike, can I be a backup singer? I always wanted to do that! I have learned the secret to a great Karoke singer! It is not the quality of the voice but the volume. The louder you sing the better you sound! And I also noticed the more you drink, the louder you sing, the really better you sound! Not that I have tried this theory!!!!!

Do we have any idea when this cruise might take place? I don't care where we go - as long as we all go together. Hey Cindy Gibson, call your friends The Rockerfellers and ask them if they want to donate to a cause! Cuz we ain't got no money but we all want to go!

Have a great one!

I have sang with Praise Teams, solos, and quartets.I'm willing to try something new. Let me know what song you want to do and I will start learning it.Terry Holt if your reading this jump in the Forum it fun, All the rest of you jump in the more the merrier.

Susan Jane Loftis (Gracia)

Bobby - Yes, I do know where I went to school....but what else are you trying to say?

Sandy W - Good to hear from you too. I'll let you pick me up next time. I'm tired of driving anyway! I live off John Sevier Hwy. Where do you and Sandy Smith live? I heard Debbie Pickel lived close to here too.

Linda Braden - I would never guessed you were naive like me, Ha! Guess we've changed with age for the better now. We are all better now except BB and his black dress. I'm beginning to wonder about him......

You know too that alot more of our classmates are local and were hesitant like me to get involved in the computer emails coming in. Sometimes we just get those emails about looking for classmates and for the longest time, I just deleted them. I did this until Connie Talbot sent me the link and said she couldn't go. This might be the reason for some. Now again, like Roger said, does anyone not eat out anymore? Well, I don't know where he eats out? Maybe we need to ask him!

Hey Jane, Sandy W. is such a sweetheart to pick us up for the next get together. You know, I backed out on her last time and she is making sure we come to this next one by picking us up. The only problem is, I live completely on the opposite side of town than you. Yes, I live way down in God's country, good ole Lanier.
Hey Trenia, how about pickin us up in one of your limo's?

This message forum has made me realize that there are so many of you that I didn't get to know in high school.

Kathy Phillips, I noticed we were the tallest in the flag corp. How about our skinny legs!!!

09/03/08 08:00 PM #120

Kathy Phillips (McBride)

Sandy, I had to wear three pairs of knee socks to keep my stupid boots up!!! Yes, we were always in the middle because we were the tallest.

I think I can find a few more people. Sounds like a lot of us are in South Knoxville.

09/03/08 08:24 PM #121

Debbie Pickel (Harper)

I'm here...I'm here...in south Knoxville too! Yep, I think there are several of us over here...so, when are we all going to get together & go eat?? Jane L. - where along J. Sevier hwy. to do you live? I found out that Debbie McKinney & I live about 2 miles apart, and I practically go right by Kathy's house twice per day going to work! Okay, I am saving my pennies for the cruise....!

Hi Jane,
Yes, we own a limousine business in Myrvul...YES I DID SPELL LIMOUSINE CORRECT FOR A COUNTRY GIRL! The name is
L'Espace Motorcoach, Inc. French meaning 'spacious.' Our oldest son had this brain storm to invest money when Jim's parents passed away. We have a white 10 passenger Lincoln; black 6 passenger Lincoln and a white 8 passenger Bently conversion. It's the only exotic car in the area; a black Cadillac Deville COncours and also use our gold Hyundai XG300L for airport trips. Jim, myself, Nathan, & Daniel have chauffeur licenses and drive.
Also have access to stretched Hummer, stretched Chrysler 300, other 6-8-10 passenger Lincolns. We've driven, John Kaye of Steppenwolf, Aaron Tippin, Blake Clark, to name a few and even Phil Fulmer haha..

No Mike, I am not avoiding saying hello to you. But buddy, I thought all those days I fussed at you in Math class would be words enough to do you a lifetime. And yes, I do remember the ink pen fight. And yes, you did get paddled. Have you forgiven me yet?

If you guys can't find Bobby the right jewelry for his little black dress just let me know. I do a little jewelry making. Bobby, if you don't have pierced ears I can adapt pierced earrings to clip earrings.

As far as I know, Connie Settlemire still lives in Murvulle....her last name is Ailey. She is married to Bill Ailey...so maybe we could find her in a phone book?
