I was FINALLY able to upload the video from Mrs. Schneider's 4th Grade Christmas Play ("Christmas Around the World"). I've got our graduation, too, and I'll try to get that up soon.

For whatever reason, I could only upload about 5 minutes at a time so it's broken up into 4 parts. I could not convert the first five minutes of the video so, unfortunately, you have to start with part 2. I'll see if I can iron that out.

The video and sound quality isn't great - the tape that this was on was obviously old and, well, technology then isn't what it is today.

Jason, I don't know if you can add these videos to a stationary part of the website for people's easier access as opposed to this getting pushed further down the message forum. I can also get you a hard copy if you'd like.

So many things to be said about this (the amount of makeup we had on in the FOURTH GRADE, to start with). :)

ENJOY!

I would love to see that old Romeo and Juliet video. I think a few of us white girls tried to rap in it. I'm sure it was HORRIBLE. I can do without seeing the talent show. I'm sure we deserved to be kicked out for our performance. If only this wisdom I've got now had come a little sooner, say 15 - 16 years ago.

OBTW, my mom ran into Mr. Varanish at Quinn Walter's funeral(high school secretary's husband). Needless to say, he remembered us. All of us!

Hey guys!! I have talent shows for all four years of high school. Now don't know if I can find them. But I have a mission, look for them. Who would forget the class of 94?

I asked Mom about that video, but she can't find it anywhere. It was certainly a classic - I can still picture the death scene of Romeo and Juliet as it occurred on my pool table (because, you know, all classic Shakespeare scenes occur on or around pool tables). :P I TOTALLY forgot about the rap, though. Wow, that was probably something REALLY special.

I'm still working on finding a block of time to upload the graduation. I doubt that it's as humorous as that play to watch, but it's certainly a momentous occasion for our class.

I do remember the Kinder play I think all kinder classes put on in the spring. I was a Bee with Jennifer Padilla and I remember Carlynn being one of the main characters and possibly Jennifer Nerios but that's all I remember.....anyone out there remember this one? I know I have pictures at home going to look for the those too.... Also the dance Jessica and I put together for the talent show... who else danced this one with us??? I think it was in the 5th grade and also the emergency room skit we put on during halloween....that was awesome. Wow....I'd love to go back to those days again!

I have quite a few pictures from the Kindergarten play. I think I even still have the playbill if you want to call it that. My favorite picture is of Gus dressed up as a bee or caterpillar. I'll try and scan them in this weekend.

Hello Class of 1994!!
First...Jason, my hat goes off to you for putting together such a cool site. Great job bud! This is a great way to catch up with everyone. I'm excited about seeing everyone at our 15th class reunion. Let me know if I can help with anything. Who do I pay?

I am setting a meeting for April, but need your feedback. I would like as many people to go as they can. So I would like suggestions on dates and times. I feel that the Chili's was a good spot, but we can always try something new. So please, let me know as soon as possible so I can start making arrangements.

Hey Jason last weekend of the month works for me but any date can be rearranged, Chili's was a good central location, and the noise level wasnt bad at all, to be able to talk.

Hey Jason! I will try to make the meeting in April. On the 11th &12th I have to do pictures for a wedding. And on the 24th and 25th I'll be singing in Georgetown. It's probably best if you just pick & set a date and time, and let everyone know. There is still plenty of time that people who need to make any type of arrangements can! Let me know and if I can, will definitely be there. Take Care. Hope your family is doing well!!!
Here's a food for thought question! How about meeting at Smolik's in Mathis. Does more of the group drive out from there? If we talk to Gail ahead of time, they can reserve one of their big tables for us. They have a variety of food now.. Just an idea.

For those of you that have indicated that you are interested in attending the reunion lets get the money into Jason. This takes a lot of effort on Jason's part to put something like this together and it is all for nothing if we don't have the money to fund this thing. Even though I am unable to attend the reunion planning events I have sent in my money. With only 37 people indicating that they are attending at $50 per person, that is less than $2,000. We all know this will cost well over that.
Jason- I would ask you come with a total figure to fund this thing, then let's all be realistic on what everyone is prepared to spend. With you having difficulty getting $50, this is starting to concern me.

Again, thanks for making this happen Jason. I know it is a lot of work!

Jason, I know we are already into April but I have made plans to be in Mathis on the 10th and 11th (Fri. & Sat.)...I can meet then if anyone wants to and Smolik's sounds good!!! I won't be able to attend a meeting on the 18th or the 25th. So anyone out there wanting to meet post a message!!! I am very curious as to how much $$$ has been sent in and I know how frustrating it must be..... so anyone that will be attending PLEASE send your $$$.

Jason, have you contacted Gail at Smolik's for that date? If not, would you like for me to do that? Do you need help with anything else?
