I found a calico cat on September 6, 2003 close to where my Mom lives in Theresa. She came out of a cornfield and I took her back to Minnesota. Named her Rainbow. She was really good when I was gone for 48 hours on my trips. We share approximately the same birth date. She was just 6. Take her along when I visit my Mom. She is a little sweetheart. My Mom spend last winter with me and she will come home with me for the winter after the Class Reunion.
Just worked at the PGA tournament at Hazeltine as a marshall. Was fun.
Did not know where to update so deleted some of the stuff that was on here. Thanks for the great Reunion.
Have been busy the month of December shoveling snow. Got about 2 feet. Go up on the roof and clear the snow off the skylights and if have time shovel some off the roof. My husband built an additon that is an area for ice to form and have had a water problem in the past. Go up there and chop ice to get rid of the water. Have not been up there for a couple of days as has barely made it above 0. Sun is strong today as see some snow melting. They have not been able to get the ice off the local streets so it is an adventure to drive anywhere. The parking lots are the same. Guess the city is broke as they don't use any sand and not very much salt and are relying on sun-power.
LIstening to the Packers right now. I go to a Catholic Church named Pax Christi. I was a greeter last night and Brett Favre was there with his daughter. Supposedly he lives near by. Was so disappointed he was so intent on playing for the Packers biggest rival. Can not stand seeing him in the Viking's uniform. Was so sad the Packers lost to the Vikings both times. I am hoping the Packers will do well in the playoffs.
My Mom has been with me for 3 months and will be here until May. She is doing ok.
Rainbow does not like the cold. Take her for a little walk when it gets above 0. She sits out front in the sun on some days.
Christmas was very nice. Went to see Santa twice with my 2 granddaughters. Went to see the Chipmunk movie last Monday. The Chipmunks were cute but it was the worst kid movie I have seen with them. Up was the best.
The City did plow the trails so can go jogging and shoot baskets when I get back as the driveway is clear.
Going to have a retirement party this Saturday for the Northwest 747-200. Was a great airplane. Northwest's name will be gone soon as Delta got FAA approval to fly under one certificate.
The 45th reunion was so much fun and appreciate everyone's hard work. Thank You
